The CH24 chair or "Wishbone Chair" as it is often called due to the shape of the back, is a light chair and even being an armchair, a relatively small piece of furniture. The curved hind legs and the semicircular top rail together with the elegant Y-back endows the chair with a gracious and welcoming air.
The CH 24 sits well, is spacious and allows its user to change position. The back offers good support and most people feel comfortable in it for a longer period of time. The curved top rail makes it easy to move around and though the arm rests are long enough to give adequate support to your forearms, the chair can still be pushed in close to a table. Today the Y-chair has developed into Wegner's and Carl Hansen's most popular chair by far.

It came in super fast and loving it. I have to say, I haven't seen the "designer" chair to compare but I absolutely love it and for the price, you can't beat it. I just moved into a small apartment in NY and it's a perfect size for a single chair to complement my mid-century couch. I am a huge fan of midcentury design, although by no means an expert. To me, they look quite close to the real "wishbone" chair. I love the look of these chairs, and they are comfortable, too. I have 2 young children and it is easy to get dropped/spilled/smeared food off of these chairs. My husband is tall (6'4" and 200+ lbs), and he finds them comfortable and roomy enough, too. Super wood chair. The seat is strong and comfortable and the curve of the back fits the curve of my back. I'm a pretty big guy and often find wooden chairs too stiff and straight.
